Jeepers, hardcore has been mentioned 3 times already, I hope it isn't that 1000 BPM stuff.

My favourite genres...I tend to side with Synius. Everything really, apart from the silly ultrafast hardcore stuff, extreme metal and most forms of rap. So this encompasses (and kind of in favourable order as well, to an extent):

- IDM
- Trance
- Drum'n'Bass
- Techno
- House
- Ambient
- Breaks
- Classical/cinematic
- Jazz
- Rock
- Reggae
- Country
- etc., etc.

Also, screw overtone. I like speedcore, but there's a limit before it gets plain ridiculous.

Speedcore, splittercore, extratone, doesn't matter what you call it...just varying degrees of insane tempos, and it's too much past about 250 - 300bpm. Bebop is probably the only kind of incredibly fast music that sounds close to reasonable.

Also, terrorcore, noizecore etc. are a bit out of my listening ability as well.

Breakcore is about my limit. I really like some breakcore stuff actually.
